फेडरल बँकेने २०२५-२६ या शैक्षणिक वर्षासाठी ‘फेडरल बँक हॉर्मिस मेमोरियल फाउंडेशन’ शिष्यवृत्ती योजना जाहीर केली असून, इच्छुक विद्यार्थ्यांना ऑनलाइन अर्ज करण्याचे आवाहन करण्यात आले आहे. बँकेचे संस्थापक स्वर्गीय के. पी. हॉर्मिस यांच्या स्मृतिप्रीत्यर्थ सुरू असलेली ही योजना आर्थिकदृष्ट्या दुर्बल घटकांतील गुणवंत विद्यार्थ्यांना उच्च व व्यावसायिक शिक्षणासाठी आर्थिक सहाय्य देण्याच्या उद्देशाने राबवली जाते.
योजनेअंतर्गत एमबीबीएस, बीडीएस, बीव्हीएससी, बीई/बीटेक/बीआर्किटेक्ट, बीएससी नर्सिंग, बीएससी कृषी तसेच एमबीए/पीजीडीएम (पूर्णवेळ) यांसारख्या निवडक व्यावसायिक अभ्यासक्रमांच्या पहिल्या वर्षात गुणवत्तेनुसार प्रवेश मिळवलेल्या विद्यार्थ्यांकडून अर्ज मागवले जात आहेत.
ही शिष्यवृत्ती आंध्रप्रदेश, गुजरात, कर्नाटक, केरळ, महाराष्ट्र, तामिळनाडू आणि तेलंगणा या राज्यांतील मूळ रहिवासी विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी खुली आहे. तसेच सशस्त्र दलातील शहीद जवानांचे आश्रित आणि वाचा, दृष्टी किंवा श्रवण अशा प्रकारच्या दिव्यांगत्व असलेल्या विद्यार्थ्यांनाही या योजनेचा लाभ घेता येणार आहे.
निवड झालेल्या विद्यार्थ्यांना त्यांच्या अभ्यासक्रमाच्या नियमित कालावधीत शिक्षण शुल्कासह इतर शैक्षणिक खर्चासाठी १०० टक्के परतफेड मिळणार आहे. एका वर्षात ही मदत कमाल एक लाख रुपयांपर्यंत असू शकते. शिवाय विद्यार्थ्यांना अभ्यासासाठी पीसी, लॅपटॉप किंवा टॅब्लेट खरेदी करण्यासाठीही सहाय्य मिळेल. लॅपटॉपसाठी ४०,००० रुपये तर टॅब्लेटसाठी ३०,००० रुपये या परतफेडीत समाविष्ट राहतील.

The scholarship is instituted in memory of our Founder, Late Shri K P Hormis. Students from many sections of the society are not able to pursue higher education despite their quality and ability due to their financial situation. Due to lack of money, many students have to drop out of education. Therefore, many types of scholarship schemes are implemented through the central and state governments to prevent such students from suffering educational losses due to financial conditions. याबाबत सविस्तर वृत्त असे की, शैक्षणिक वर्ष 2023-24 करिता फेडरल बँकेच्या माध्यमातून फेडरल बँक हॉर्मिस मेमोरियल फाउंडेशन स्कॉलरशिप साठी अर्ज मागविण्यात येत आहेत. बँकेच्या सीएसआर उपक्रमांतर्गत स्कॉलरशिप प्रकल्प राबवण्यात येत आहे या स्कॉलरशिपच्या अंतर्गत एमबीबीएस, इंजीनियरिंग, एमबीए, बीएससी नर्सिंग तसेच कृषी विद्यापीठांच्या माध्यमातून बीएससी ऍग्री सह बी एस सी( ओनर्स ) कोऑपरेशन अँड बँकिंगचं ॲग्री सायन्सेस इत्यादी अभ्यासक्रमाचा समावेश आहे.
या स्कॉलरशिपसाठी अटी
1- या स्कॉलरशिप साठी अर्ज करणाऱ्या अर्जदाराच्या कुटुंबाचे वार्षिक उत्पन्न तीन लाख रुपयापेक्षा कमी असावे.
2- देशासाठी बलिदान देणाऱ्या सशस्त्र दलातील कर्मचाऱ्यांच्या मुलांचा वेगळ्या चॅनलने या माध्यमातून विचार केला जाणार असून या विभागाच्या अंतर्गत जे अर्जदार अर्ज करतील त्या विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी कौटुंबिक उत्पन्नाचे अट असणार नाही.
3- या स्कॉलरशिप करिता जे विद्यार्थी अर्ज करतील त्यांनी मेरिट वर सरकारी/ अनुदानित/ सरकार मान्य सेल्फ फायनान्सिंग/ खाजगी कॉलेजच्या पहिल्या वर्षाला शैक्षणिक वर्ष 2023-24 ला प्रवेश घेतलेला असावा.

या स्कॉलरशिप साठी प्रामुख्याने तामिळनाडू, कर्नाटक, केरळ, महाराष्ट्र, गुजरात आणि पंजाब या राज्यातील विद्यार्थी पात्र असतील व प्रत्येक क्षेत्रातील एक जागा ही दिव्यांग विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी राखीव असेल. दिव्यांग विद्यार्थ्यांना डीएमओ किंवा बँकेच्या मान्यता प्राप्त मेडिकल ऑफिसरकडून प्रमाणपत्र सादर करणे गरजेचे आहे.
विद्यार्थ्यांना दिव्यांग विभागातून अर्ज करता आला नाही तर अर्ज साधारण विभागांमध्ये गणला जाईल. यामध्ये ज्या विद्यार्थ्यांची निवड होईल त्यांचे शंभर टक्के शैक्षणिक फी आणि इतर शैक्षणिक कर्ज ही कॉलेजच्या फी नुसार देण्यात येणार आहे. याकरिता कमाल खर्च हा एक लाख रुपये प्रति वर्ष असणार आहे.

या स्कॉलरशिप साठी ज्या विद्यार्थ्यांना अर्ज करायचा असेल असे विद्यार्थी 17 डिसेंबर 2023 या तारखेपर्यंत अर्ज करू शकता.

Scholarships are offered for the following courses:

• B Sc. Nursing
• MBA
• Agriculture (B.Sc.) including BSc (Hons) Cooperation & Banking conducted by Agriculture Universities.
Students from the following identified states are eligible to apply for scholarships.
• Gujarat
• Karnataka
• Kerala
• Maharashtra
• Punjab
• Tamil Nadu
(Students are requested to submit a copy of Nativity Certificate)
Admission criteria:
Students applying for the scholarship should have secured admission for first year under merit in Government/ Aided/ Government Recognised Self-financing/ Autonomous colleges during the Academic year 2023-24.
Annual family Income for applying the scholarship should be less than ₹ 3 Lakh and an Income Certificate issued by Govt authorities to substantiate the same is required.
How to Apply For Federal Bank Hormis Memorial Foundation Scholarship 2023-24
1. Students can apply for the Scholarship through the Scholarship Portal https://scholarships.federalbank.co.in:6443/fedschlrshipportal/. The above link is made available in CSR pages of the Bank’s website.
2. Students are required to upload the following documents while applying:
a. Photo of the student
b. Admission Letter/Admission Memo
c. Course fee structure.
d. Mark sheets of Qualifying Examination*
e. Instructions from the University for converting the CGPA/Grade into percentage (Mandatory for MBA Applicants)
f. Family income certificate issued by government authorities.
g. Nativity certificate.
h. ID proof & Address proof of Student and Parent.
i. Medical Certificate (applicable for physically challenged students & speech/hearing/vision impaired students).
