How does the State Bank of India select candidates for the CDBA position, and what does this process involve?
The selection process for the CDBA position involves shortlisting followed by an interaction/interview. Merely meeting the minimum eligibility criteria does not guarantee being called for an interview. The bank's shortlisting committee determines the parameters used to select candidates. The shortlisted candidates will then be called for an interview which carries 100 marks. A merit list is prepared based solely on the interview scores. If multiple candidates have the same score at the cut-off point, they are ranked according to age in descending order.
What documents do candidates need to upload when applying for the CDBA position, and what are the specific requirements?
Candidates need to upload the following documents as part of their online application: recent photograph, signature, a brief resume in PDF format, ID proof in PDF format, proof of date of birth in PDF format, experience/discharge certificates in PDF format, Form-16/PPO/latest salary/pension slip in PDF format, a duly filled and signed Biodata form in PDF format (available on the bank’s career website) and documentation for any Gallantry awards/medals (if any). All documents must be in PDF format, A4 page size and must not exceed 500 kb. The photograph must be a recent colour passport style image between 20-50kb, with a 200x230 pixel preferred size and the signature must be signed with a black ink pen on white paper and be between 10-20kb, with a preferred size of 140x60 pixels. Specific guidelines regarding the scanning of each are also provided.
